Competitive Studies
T-TET, STGT, STPGT, JRBT, TCS, TPSC and the state recruitment examinations — taught subject by subject, tested week after week.

Home — About
Asiatic Institute of Competitive Studies is a dedicated centre for competitive examination preparation and academic support, at Badharghat in Agartala.
What we do
We provide structured classes, quality study materials, regular practice, mock tests, doubt-clearing sessions and examination-oriented guidance. That sentence is the whole institute; everything below is only how we do it.
Preparation in Tripura has a particular shape. Candidates are often working — teaching on contract, finishing a degree, sitting three different recruitment cycles in one year. Some write the paper in Bengali, some in English. Some can come to Badharghat every day and some can only come on Sunday. A centre that ignores all that and runs one timetable is not really teaching; it is only holding class.
So we run both mediums with their own material. We run online alongside offline. We run a separate batch for in-service teachers and a separate one for freshers. And we keep the practice constant across all of them, because that is the part nobody can outsource.

How a course runs
No mystery method. This is the sequence every batch moves through, whichever paper it is preparing for.
Which paper you are eligible for, which medium you should write in, and whether this cycle or the next one is the realistic target. If a course is wrong for you, it is cheaper for everyone to find out now.
Each subject is taught on its own schedule by the teacher who handles it — Child Development & Pedagogy, the languages, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and the pedagogy of each. Regular classes, not a crash course.
Printed notes organised by syllabus unit, with question banks attached. You should be able to open the file the night before the exam and know where everything is.
Objective sets follow each topic while it is still fresh. The point is to convert reading into recall before the topic goes cold.
Full length, timed, and then discussed. The discussion is the part that matters: which questions you lost to carelessness, which to concept, and which were never worth attempting.
Dedicated slots on the timetable. A question raised on Tuesday does not have to wait for next Tuesday.

Dream • Prepare • Achieve
Three words on a seal. The middle one is the only one we can do for you.
On the same premises
Competitive studies is the largest wing, but it is not the only one. A Montessori teacher-training college and a kids school run alongside it.

NTT, ECCE, Montessori Teacher Training and Advanced Diploma programmes for those who want to teach the youngest learners well.
