Training for the people
who teach first.
Our Montessori Teacher Training College runs NTT, ECCE, Montessori Teacher Training and Diploma programmes for those preparing to work with young children.
The training wing
The first teacher a child meets
is the one who decides the rest.
Early childhood teaching is a qualification, not a temperament. Our institution provides teacher-training programmes through the Montessori Teacher Training College — the courses that a pre-primary or nursery post actually asks for.
It also sits on the same premises as Little Millennium Kids School, which means trainees are not learning early-years practice purely from a book — there is a working classroom of three- and four-year-olds a few steps away.

Courses available
Five programmes.
Course duration, eligibility and the current intake vary by session — call the centre for the details of the batch that is running now.
What the training covers
Method, materials,
and the child in front of you.
The programmes are practical by design. Theory earns its place by explaining something you will do in a classroom next week.
Child development
How children of different ages actually think, play and learn — and what that means for the way a lesson is built.
Prepared environment
Setting up a room so that a child can choose, concentrate and finish work without being managed every minute.
Teaching materials
Working with early-years materials — what each one teaches, in what order, and how to present it.
Activity-based learning
Building lessons around doing rather than listening, which is how foundational concepts stick at this age.
Observation & record keeping
Watching properly, writing down what you saw, and using it — the least glamorous and most useful skill in early education.
Classroom practice
Practical exposure with young learners, so the first day of a real job is not the first day in a real classroom.

Teachers’ Day at Asiatic
We train teachers. Once a year, we also remember to thank them.
